Find your flywheel.
Every business has one. Few have found theirs.
Roda helps leaders of scaling service and tech companies identify the problems holding them back, design the flywheels that shift them, and track whether they're actually turning.
Illustrative flywheel. Northvale Group is fictional.
Why flywheels work.
A flywheel is a feedback loop: actions that feed each other. Plans sit in drawers. Feedback loops keep moving.
Feedback loops compound. Lists don't.
A plan is a list of things to do. A flywheel is a feedback loop where the output of one action is the input to the next, so effort accumulates instead of draining away. That's why the second turn is easier than the first.
Most problems live in the handoffs.
Overruns, churn, wasted AI spend: they rarely sit inside one team. They sit between steps, where nobody quite owns the join. A loop makes every handoff visible, and one of them is usually the weakest.
You learn faster than a plan allows.
A plan gets reviewed quarterly. A flywheel turns every week: you see where it's slowing, adjust that one handoff, and go again. The teams that win aren't the ones with the best plan, they're the ones that adapt and learn the fastest.
What that looks like in practice
Six steps. The last one sends you back to the second.Name the problem
One thing that's costing you. Not the strategy, not the whole business.
Map the feedback loop
The four to six actions that feed each other around it, and the handoff where it's weakest.
Set the measures
A handful of numbers that show whether each handoff is working. Fewer than you think.
Act
Owners, actions and a weekly rhythm, held by the people closest to the work.
Measure
The platform tracks pace and trend and shows you where the loop is slowing.
Learn, and go again
Adjust the loop, not the plan. Back to step two, faster each time.
See it on a problem you'll recognise.
These are the questions we hear most, in the words we hear them. Pick one to see what the loop and the first measures might look like.
Illustrative. Your measures come out of your loop, not a template.
Diagnose.
Design.
Deliver.
Three steps, one flywheel. What we build together at the start is what you run at the end. Same loop, same measures.
Diagnose
Find your leverage.
Before anyone builds anything, we look properly. Your numbers, your board packs, and conversations with the people doing the work. Then we explore where performance is being lost, where a flywheel would make the biggest difference, and where to start.
You leave with: a prioritised list of where to focus.
Design
Build your flywheel.
Now we make it real. Together we map the loop, agree the measures that tell you whether it's turning, and put a name against every step. Then we set it up in the platform so it's live from week one, run by the people closest to the work.
You leave with: a working flywheel with named owners, live in the platform.
Deliver
Keep it turning.
This is where it gets good. Every week the platform shows you pace, trend and where the loop is slowing, so you can adjust one handoff and go again. Run it yourselves, or add a monthly review with us to keep the learning fast and the loop honest.
How you run it: Platform, or Platform + Review.
One place. Your loop, your numbers, every week. It shows pace, trend and where each handoff stands, so you can see the loop slowing before the numbers tell you. It doesn't claim to know why; it shows you where to look.
Proof it works.

Stuck, stalling, or simply want to go faster?
We'll tell you what we see, including the bits you won't like. Then we'll build something with you that actually moves. Start with the problem that's costing you most.
